Biography
Laterria S. Jordan is an aspiring business leader who is on the journey of making many meaningful connections with people that will be able to give her a helping hand towards her successful career. Laterria graduated from Suitland High School Center for the Visual Performing Arts with a concentration in voice. She currently attends Shenandoah Conservatory located in Winchester, VA, and plans to graduate in 2022 with her Bachelor in Music. Once she graduates her dream is to start a business that allows many people to have these opportunities that allow them to start their own careers in music. Her business will come with many job opportunities along with a platform that will contribute to promoting these aspiring artists.
Laterria comes from a very musical family and she also comes from a church background. From singing at family reunions at age three till now, Laterria has always had a passion for music. Her love of music continues to grow each and every day. All throughout elementary school and middle school, she was always someone who stood out in her music classes. During her 8th grade year, she participated in the state-wide Honors Choir. She then later auditioned to attend her local performing arts High School and was accepted. During her junior year at Suitland, her chair director talked to her about a very prestigious pre-college vocal program where she was also accepted. That was a very wonderful experience.
Laterria is currently in her 1st semester of senior year. This school year has reigned with many new opportunities. This past school year Laterria and another student were recommended to become the new Gospel Choir Directors at Shenandoah University. With one semester remaining at Shenandoah, Laterria plans to continue to accomplish many things that will contribute to these meaningful connections for her future.
